Burger House is a chain of restaurants selling as the name indicates burgers. They have 7 locations in Germany, of which 6 in Munich and 1 in Stuttgart, where the concept was created. Having spent the whole day in Olympia park paddle boating, we were literally starving. Not in the mood for the touristic food served there, on our way back noticed that small beer garden selling burgers.

Burger House claims that quality is their top priority. That’s why their juicy beef comes from the local farmers from Bavaria, their bread is freshly-baked (at least that’s what they say:)), their sauces are homemade and most of the ingredients are regional.
Although their mission statement says that they want to offer tasty burgers at the fair price, from my perspective it’s way too expensive. Apart from their lunch deal – 8,99€ for burger, fries & a drink, their prices are too high. I find 17€ for a small burger, fries and a beer way too much. They should definitely consider lowering the prices since it’s just a beer garden with no service!
As for the food I must say it’s very good, but haven’t amazed me. I would recommend you taking sweet potato fries, Big West Burger and Camembert Chicken burger. It’s a shame that there are no option for vegetarians, but as for such a tiny place the menu range is quite O.K. A big minus is the lack of service, but typical for a beer garden on the other hand. What I also found funny was the bathroom – in the ‘NYC’ style. Their burgers are far away from those served in the Big Apple, but a nice try :).

Burgers are very tasty – good quality of meat, delicious sweet potato fries, but they are overpriced. Especially in a place where service doesn’t exist you should’t charge people almost 20€ for a burger, fries and a beer.
