I don’t know about you, guys, but I’m not a regular visitor of five-star hotels. It usually costs a fortune and honestly you don’t spend 6 hours in the plane crossing 3 time zones to stay in your hotel room. Especially when you are in your 20ties interested more in exploring the city, culture, shopping & partying. You know that there’s always a BUT – sometimes the experience is really worth it. That’s the case of Grosvenor House Dubai.

  500€ for two nights

Grosvenor House Dubai belongs to the Starwood Luxury Collection Property (among renewed hotels such as Le Meridien, Westin and St. Regis). Everyone recognizes its two twin towers, a prominent symbol of Dubai Marina, splendidly dazzling in the night. I must admit – Dubai Marina is my favourite part of the city. Founded in 2003, located on the Persian Gulf shoreline, surrounded by enormous, soaring skyscrapers and Dubai Marina Yacht Club (a home to the most exclusive sailing yachts in the world), Dubai Marina takes my breath away every single time!

Grosvenor House and its towers (built accordingly in 2005 and 2011) offer an exaggerating 750 rooms, suites and apartments to its guests. Cavernous, chic & thoughtfully decorated, each of them has an enormous, elegant marble bathroom – a dream of every girl. You will find there both shower and bathtub and a set of Bulgari cosmetics. Can it get any better?

A huge balcony with a wonderful view over the lake and endless Dubai Marina is my absolute number one of Grosvenor House Dubai. I highly suggest that you have your morning coffee & breakfast sitting pleasantly on the balcony (of course not during Ramadan or summer). Starting your day high up on the 27th floor, enjoying the magnificent scenery is worth every penny you pay. Grosvenor House Dubai doesn’t own a private beach, but as a guest you have a free access to the exclusive beach & pool at Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort, located within 6 min drive or 10 min walk. If you are tight on time, you should use the pool at Grosvenor House and relax with a fancy drink from the pool bar, admiring the stunning view of Dubai Marina towers & skyscrapers.

Bar 44 at Grosvenor House Dubai

Grosvenor House Dubai houses 14(!) stylish bars and fine restaurants, serving cuisines from all over the world – no doubt in finding something for you :). My personal top list opens with Siddharta Lounge by Buddha-Bar, located by the pool. It’s smoothly chic & cosmopolitan. You can also try exquisitely infused Mediterranean and Asian flavours, while enjoying chillout music and sophisticated ambiance. It is a good option for an evening drink or a light after dinner meal.

If you want to celebrate – make it BIG & LOUD at Buddha Bar. Its impressive design, richness of colours, patterns and forms reaches completely new heights of elegance and refinement. I felt in love with the enormous golden Buddha statue, proudly standing in the middle of the gigantic dining room and the live music performance, inspired by the original Buddha Bar in Paris. Buddha Bar Dubai enjoys great popularity among both locals and tourists and has been recently recognized one of the best in Dubai, winning the Time Out Dubai Restaurant Award 2016. I couldn’t agree more – everything about Buddha Bar is truly AMAZING and it knocks out all other bars & lounges I have ever been to.

Indego by Vineet at Grosvenor House Dubai

Last but not least, Indego by Vineet is a place to be! It is the winner of 2016 Time Out Dubai restaurant award in the Best Indian Category and personally my favourite. It is run by the eminent Michelin Starred Chef, Vineet Bhatia. Situated in the Tower Two, it spoils you with phenomenal Indian cuisine and gives a marvellous view on the Marina Promenade. Indego by Vineet is the top culinary experience: food, atmosphere, views and an outstanding service. It’s very likely that you end up lively speaking and joking with them or even, making friends :).

Grosvenor House Dubai is a quintessence of Dubai – wealth, sophistication, extravagance and luxury. Rooms are beautifully decorated and the view from the balcony is just breathtaking! I must admit that the service is excellent. After all, it is an inseparable part of their great success (and a few spare bucks – in the case of Dubai :))
